The Accenture Muslim Network in association with ULFA aid schematically held a fundraising dinner on the 17th September 2004 to provide relief for the major humanitarian crisis unfolding in Sudan’s western region of Darfur.

The striking utterance of the noble words of the Qur’an created a kind of euphoric presence, as
Hassen Rasool took centre stage to open the evening.

The evening included a lecture by the distinguished and charismatic Shaykh Babikr who emphasised the importance of consciousness as an important foundation for Islamic daily life. Further, Mohabbat-e-Rasool performed a stunning and captivating nasheed.

The essential element of the night was fulfilled by an exciting auction of Islamic arts and artifacts. The attendees were responsible for raising a substantial sum for the victims in the Sudan. Notably, the artwork of Hassen Rasool was empowered to derive over £2,000 toward the Darfur cause.
Shaykh Babikr returned to the stage to offer a heart-warming prayer for all and especially our brothers and sisters in the Darfur region. We like to thank him for his generosity and hard work.
